4 Using Altiris Deployment Solution This chapter provides information on using Altiris Deployment Solution-specifically, each of the Deployment Solution building blocks is described. 4-1 Downloading an OS image to a client computer This section provides details on the process to download an image from the HP website to a single client computer. As described previously, downloading an OS image to a client computer is a two-step process (see Figure 4-1): 1. Download the OS image (the USB Key Image) from the HP website, and store the image on a USB key. 2. Plug the USB key into the client computer, and install the OS from the USB key. 4-1 Downloading an OS image to a client computer
This section provides details on the process to download an image from the HP website to a single client
computer. As described previously, downloading an OS image to a client computer is a two-step process (see
Figure 4-1):
1.
Download the OS image (the

2.
Plug the USB key into the client computer, and install the OS from the USB key.
