Aimer Beam Delay (Aimer Beam option only) The Aimer Beam Delay allows a delay time for the operator to aim the reader before the standard illumination and decoding starts. The quickset codes sets the time between when the trigger is pulled and when the decode starts to either 1 or 2 seconds. During the delay time, the aiming beam appears, but the illumination LEDs won't turn on until the delay time is over. * Off (no delay) 2 seconds 1 second User-Specified Aimer Beam Delay If you want to set your own length for the duration of the delay, scan the bar code below, then set the time-out by scanning digits (0 - 4000 ms) from the Programming Chart inside the back cover of this manual and then scan Save. Delay Duration Aimer Mode (Aimer Beam option only) If you are reading codes in applications that exhibit high ambient light, you can turn on the aimer beam to assist you in reliably finding and scanning a code. Aimer Beam Delay (Aimer Beam option only)
The Aimer Beam Delay allows a delay time for the operator to aim the reader
before the standard illumination and decoding starts.
The quickset codes sets
the time between when the trigger is pulled and when the decode starts to either
1 or 2 seconds.
