Learn About Programming Features Your CT2800 Thermostat allows you to program schedules for both a heating season and a cooling season. • During the heating season, you will want to set the normal room temperature higher and the energy-saving temperature lower. • The reverse is true during the cooling season-the normal room temperature will be lower and the energy-saving temperature higher. For each season, you can set up to four program periods for the weekdays (Monday-Friday), and up to two program periods for the weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Your CT2800 Thermostat allows you to program schedules for both a heating season and a cooling season.
During the heating season, you will want to set the normal room temperature higher and the energy-saving
temperature lower.
The reverse is true during the cooling season—the normal room temperature will be lower and the energy-saving
temperature higher.
For each season, you can set up to four program periods for the weekdays (Monday–Friday), and up to two program
periods for the weekends (Saturday and Sunday). The program periods are defined in the following table.
