INSTRUCTIONS FOR CLEANING • Wash the outside surface of the air washer with a damp cloth (Fig. 43). • Remove the disc assembly from the basin by pulling the discs up, holding the center post at each end (Fig. 44). Clean the discs with mild detergent and water. NOTE: Do not place discs in the dishwasher. ig. 43 • Place the tank and the basin in the dishwasher for cleaning or wash by hand with a mild detergent and water (Fig. 45). Note: if the tank and base are washed in the dishwasher, do not use the water heat booster setting or heat dry setting of the dishwasher. • Once all parts are cleaned and dried, assemble parts back together and operate as per the operation instructions. Q: How long should the unit operate until the tank must be refilled? A: The tank holds 1.5 gallons of water and one fill will last about 24 hours depending on the environmental conditions of the room. Q: What is the cost to operate this unit? A: This unit will draw approximately 25 watts of electricity. You can use this information to determine the cost to operate by finding your cost per Kilo-Watt Hour on your electric bill. Multiply the wattage (25) by .001 (=.025) and multiply this by your cost per Kilo-Watt Hour to get the cost per hour to run the machine. Q: What is the recommended humidity level for a home?
