Settings Settings Your phone's signal reception or transmission may interfere with an airplane's flight system. Power off your phone or switch to airplane mode when you are on a flight. In airplane mode, your phone's wireless features are disabled, but you can still listen to music or play games. Use either of the following methods to turn on or off Airplane mode: • Press and hold the power button. From the displayed option menu, choose Airplane mode. • On the home screen, touch 6) . Under WIRELESS & NETWORKS, touch More... > Airplane mode. When airplane mode is on, ylr appears in the status bar. I. On the home screen, touch 2. Under DEVICE, touch Display. 3. On the settings screen, you can: • Touch Wallpaper to set the lock screen and home screen wallpapers. • Touch Auto-rotate screen to turn the screen auto-rotate function on or off. If this function is turned on, your screen's orientation will automatically change with the way you hold your phone when you perform certain operations, such as browsing a web page, viewing a picture, or writing a message. • Touch Brightness to set the screen brightness. To manually adjust the brightness, clear the Automatic brightness check box. • Touch Font size to change the display font size. • Touch Screen timeout to set a screen timeout period. If idle for the specified period, your phone automatically locks its screen to save battery power. 73
