11 Security settings 11.1 Enabling the UIM card PIN 1. Open the Settings list. 2. Touch Location & security > Set up UIM/RUIM card lock. 3. Touch Lock UIM/RUIM card, and enter the default UIM card PIN using the onscreen keyboard. 4. Touch OK. Emergency calls can be placed at any time, without entering a PIN. 11.2 Changing the UIM card PIN 1. Open the Settings list. 2. Touch Location & security > Set up UIM/RUIM card lock. 3. Touch Change UIM/RUIM PIN, and enter the old UIM card PIN using the onscreen keyboard. 4. Enter the new UIM card PIN, and then touch OK. 59
