The bottom portion divides the tested CO cables into three categories: On-line, Offline or Suspect. CO cables might be listed as offline while being upgraded. Figure 3.14: Diagnostics window Next to each item that will be tested, you will see a pass (green circle) or fail (red x) symbol to the left of each item as that test finishes. LAN Connection Reports on the condition of the LAN connection. On-line CO cables Offline CO cables Suspect CO cables Indicates the total number of currently connected and turned on CO cables. Indicates the number of CO cables that have been connected successfully in the past and are turned off. Indicates the number of CO cables that have been detected, but are either unavailable for connection or have dropped packets during the ping tests. To run diagnostic tests, complete the following steps: 1. Click Commands > Run Diagnostics. A warning message indicates that all users will be disconnected. 2. Click OK to begin diagnostics. 3. All users are disconnected and the Diagnostics window opens. 4. As each test is finished, a pass (green circle) or fail (red x) symbol is visible. The test is com- plete when the last test symbol is visible.
