Read the warning and click OK in the CO Load window to continue to load firmware. -orClick X or press Esc to exit the window without loading firmware. Decommissioning a CO NOTE: Decommissioning a CO restores the factory defaults on the CO, removing any assigned server names, and resetting any other configurations while leaving the eID unchanged. Reboot the server connected to the CO before using it again. 1. Access the Commands window. If needed, see "Accessing the Commands window" on page 40. 2. Click Display Versions. The Version window opens. 3. Click Target. The Target Selection window opens. 4. Click the name of a server that is connected to the rack console switch with a CO. 5. Click the Decommission button. 6. Click OK. 7. Click X or press Esc to close the Target Selection window. Resetting a console switch cable NOTE: If a tiered switch is not recognized, you can use the Reset button to reset a PS/2 console switch cable attached to the tiered switch. (Be sure that the PS/2 console switch cable is connected to a tiered switch and not to a server because a reset might cause the mouse and keyboard to stop responding and you would need to restart the target server.) 1. Access the Commands window. If needed, see "Accessing the Commands window" on page 40. 2. Click Display Versions. The Version window opens.
