Configuring the Switch Mode and Share Mode You can use the Switch window to set one of the two following Switch modes: • Preemptive (the default setting) enables the other user to select any server at any time; a request from the other user disconnects the current user without warning. • Cooperative maintain the current user connection; the current user is not disconnected if the other user requests connection. From the Switch window you can also enable or disable Share mode and specify a time-out period. Share mode allows two users to access a primary server. Accessing the Switch window 1. Access the Setup window. If needed, see "Accessing the Setup window" on page 30. 2. Click Switch. The Switch window opens.

Configuring the Switch Mode and Share Mode
You can use the Switch window to set one of the two following Switch modes:
