Message List Explanation Corrective Action 11. Power on the printer in download mode and load flash memory (page 238). 12. If you encounter the failure after replacing the controller board, reinstall the original controller board and contact your DDS and Second Level Support. Status message: the printer finished loading the program into flash memory and is automatically resetting itself. No action required. Status message: the printer is resetting itself. No action required. Status message when downloading boot code. Code is checked then saved in flash memory. No action required. Non-error status message. No action required. The shuttle type was not detected at power-up. The controller board does not have a security key. 1. Power off and unplug the printer. Remove the paper guide assembly or top cover to gain access to the card cage. Make sure the shuttle data and power cables are undamaged and have good connections at the shuttle and the controller board. 2. Plug in the printer and power it on. If the message appears, replace the controller board. Record the message and return it with the defective board. 3. Power on the printer. If the message appears, replace the shuttle frame assembly. 1. Remove the SPX from the RJ-12 Debug Port. 2. Power down the printer. 3. Install the security key. 168
