MENU ITEMS 11 • Distress Related (Configuration > Inactivity Timer > Distress Related:) The transceiver automatically returns to the Main screen if no key is pushed for this set period of time. (Default: Off) This setting is for when the LCD displays a screen that is related to a Distress call. • RT Related (Configuration > Inactivity Timer > RT Related:) The transceiver automatically returns to the standby mode if you push no key for this set period of time. (Default: 30 sec) This setting is for when the transceiver is in the Radio Telephone mode. DDS peaker 1 (Configuration > Speaker:) Select the speaker to use. (Default: Internal) 2 Internal: The audio is heard from the internal speaker. 3 Int. and ext.: The audio is heard from both the internal speaker and the external speaker. 4 Confirm this item is selected, when you 5 use the external speaker. 6 7 8 9 10 DDNoise Cancel 11 (Configuration > Noise Cancel) Set the Noise Cancel function for both receive and transmit. 12 RX: The function reduces noise component in your receive 13 audio for your smooth reception.
