5 MDC 1200 SYSTEM OPERATION Receiving a call DDReceiving a PTT ID call When a PTT ID call is received: •• Beeps sound, depending on the presetting. DDReceiving an MDC Emergency call When an MDC Emergency call is received: •• Beeps sound. Hold down [PTT] to transmit. LLThe transceiver may automatically transmit an acknowledgment to the calling station, depending on the setting. LLTo stop the Emergency beeps, turn OFF the transceiver, change the channel, or push [PTT] or a key. DDReceiving an MDC Stun or Revive call If an MDC Stun call is received that matches your station ID, you can not receive* or transmit. To use the transceiver again, you need to: •• Receive* an MDC Revive call that matches your station ID. •• Setup again using the CS-V10MR programming software. * Reception may be enabled, depending on the presetting. 5-3
