5 OTHER FUNCTIONS Using the Emergency Call function (Continued) The transceiver enters the Emergency mode through the following functions, depending on a presetting: DDThe Man Down function When the transceiver is tilted past the preset angle for the ON Timer preset time, the transceiver enters the Emergency mode. LLIf a user raises the transceiver back from the preset angle towards the vertical position before the Reminder Timer set time expires, the Emergency mode is canceled. Enters the Emergency mode. Sends an Emergency call. ON Timer Reminder Timer Emergency Timer Man Down With Stationary: ••The transceiver leans past the preset angle for the ON Timer preset time. AND ••The transceiver is detected as stationary (no motion) for the ON Timer set time. LLIf a user raises the transceiver back from the preset angle towards the vertical position, or when the user moves the transceiver before the Reminder Timer set time expires, the Emergency mode is canceled. Enters the Emergency mode. Sends an Emergency call. Angle Past the preset degrees Preset angle Time If raised back from the preset angle during the Reminder Timer, the Emergency mode is canceled. Acceleration ON Timer Reminder Timer Emergency Timer No motion is detected. Past 45 degrees Stationary Sensitivity If moving during the Reminder Timer, the Emergency mode is canceled. Angle Time Preset angle If raised back from the preset angle during the Reminder Timer, the Emergency mode is canceled. NOTE: The Man down function may not properly work, depending on the surrounding environment such as obstructions, weather condition, and so on.
