Installing batteries To install batteries in the remote control: 1 Remove the battery cover. 2 Insert two AAA batteries. Place the batteries with their terminals corresponding to the + and - indications in the battery compartment. Item Description 1 POWER -Press to turn the television on or off. 2 INPUT -Press to select the input source. Options include: • TV-watch television through the antenna • AV1-watch a DVD, video game, or camcorder from a device connected to the AV1 or S-VIDEO input terminals. • AV2-watch a DVD, video game, or camcorder from a device connected to the AV2 input terminals. • COMPONENT-watch a DVD from a DVD player connected to the component input terminals. 3 Direct channel selector/number buttons-Press to select a channel or enter a password. 4 Return -Press to return to the previously viewed channel. 5 CH+/- -Press to adjust the channel up or down. 6 ZOOM-Press to change the picture size in DTV (digital TV) mode.
