Configuration Jumpers Hard Disk Drive Carriers The Intel® Server System H2000JF ships in two different basic SKUs, and with different maximum number of hard disk drives, see the following table for details : Table 4. Hard Disk Drive Options Intel® Server System Supported Hard Drive Type Maximum Hard Drive Number H2312JF 3.5'' or 2.5'' 12 H2216JF 2.5'' 16 Note: SAS drives are only supported when proper Intel® RAID C600 Upgrade Key is installed. Note: Drives can consume up to 17 watts of power each. Drives must be specified to run at a maximum ambient temperature of 45°C. Note: The Intel® Server System H2000JF does not support all SAS or Serial ATA (SATA) hard drives. For a web link to a list of supported hard drives, see Additional Information and Software. Bezel The front bezel is available as optional accessory for the server system: Figure 13. Front View of System Bezel Hot-Swap SAS/SATA Backplane The Hot-Swap SAS/SATA backplane serves as an interface between the mother board and the system drives.
