Use Scan Gestures to Scan a Bar Code Use scan gestures feature to demonstrate how to scan, accept, and reject a bar code using gestures. 1 On the Features Demo menu screen, tap Data Capture > Scan Gesture. Wait for the instructions page to appear. 2 On the instructions page, tap Start to begin scanning bar codes. 3 Point the scanner to the ground and quickly rotate it up 45°. The scanner turns on. 4 Aim the scanner towards the bar code you want to scan. On the Features Demo menu screen, tap
Data Capture >
Scan
Gesture.
Wait for the instructions page to appear.

to begin scanning bar codes.

Point the scanner to the ground and quickly rotate it up 45°. The
scanner turns on.

Aim the scanner towards the bar code you want to scan.
The bar code that you aimed towards is scanned.
