Enable the Inactivity Alert Alarm Use the inactivity alert to set an alarm to signal when a mobile computer has been left unattended or unused for a certain amount of time. 1 On the Features Demo menu screen, tap Activity Alerts > Inactivity Alert. Wait for the instructions page to appear. 2 On the instructions page, tap Start to set the alarm for inactivity alert. 3 From the Set drop-down menu, select the amount of time for the computer to be inactive before the alarm sounds. 4 Adjust the Motion detection slider to the sensitivity you want for the alarm. High sensitivity specifies that only a small amount of motion is needed to reset the alarm and prevent it from sounding.
