Chapter 3 - Troubleshoot and Maintain the Printer Clean the Printer Cleaning the printhead on a regular basis is important for the life of the printhead and for the print quality. You should clean the printhead each time you replace the media. Caution: Never use hard or sharp tools to peel away stuck labels or other material. Clean the Printer
Cleaning the printhead on a regular basis is important for the life of
the printhead and for the print quality. You should clean the
printhead each time you replace the media.

Turn the printer off.

If necessary, disconnect the printer from power.

Open the media door and remove the media.

Use the cleaning swab to clean all parts of the printer.

After the parts are dry, replace the media.

Turn on the printer.
