CONNECTION/INSTALLATION R Connecting microphone for Bluetooth Connect the microphone (7) to the MIC terminal. • To install the microphone, peel off the adhesive tape, fix on the installation position, then adjust the direction of the microphone to face the driver. After installing, fix the microphone cable to the car with clamps (commercially available). 7 Installing the Digital Radio antenna (only for DDX5015DAB)  Caution • This film antenna (0) is exclusively for use inside the vehicle. • Do not install in the following locations: - Where it may block the driver's view - Where it may obstruct the operation of safety devices such as air bags - On movable glass surfaces such as rear hatches - On the side of the vehicle (e.g. doors, front-side windows) - On rear windows • Signal strength will decrease in the following locations: - On IR reflecting glass or where covered with mirror type glass film - Where it overlaps with the standard radio antenna (pattern) - Where it overlaps with window heating wires - Where glass that blocks radio signals (e.g. IR reflecting glass, thermal insulation glass) is used • Poor reception may occur: - Due to noise when the windshield wipers, air conditioner, or motor isturned on - Depending on thelocation of the broadcast station in relation to the vehicle (antenna) • Thoroughly wipe oil and dirt from the surface where the antenna will be attached with the included cleaner (~). • Do not bend or damage the film antenna (0). • It may not be possible to install the antenna in some types of vehicle. • Check the cable routing of the film antenna (0) and amplifier unit (-) before attaching.
