Chapter 6 Setting Video Out Video Out is a regional setting that lets you successfully connect to a television or other external device (see page 58). 1 Press the Menu button. 2 Press to highlight Setup , then press the OK button. 3 Press to highlight Video Out , then press the OK button. 4 Press to highlight an option: NTSC (default)-used in most countries except those in Europe and China. North America and Japan use NTSC. PAL-used in Europe and China. 5 Press the OK button to accept the change. 6 Press the Menu button to exit the menu. This setting remains until you change it. Selecting a Language You can display menus and screen messages in different languages. 1 Press the Menu button. 2 Press to highlight Setup , then press the OK button. 3 Press to highlight Language , then press the OK button. 4 Highlight an option, then press the OK button. 5 Press the Menu button to exit the menu. Text is displayed in the selected language. This setting remains until you change it. 71
