5.1 Writing Setting Information to a Device 5 Writing to a device 1 Edit setting information. % For details on how to edit setting information, refer to "Editing Setting Information" (p.4-2). 2 Click [Start Distribution] on the [Distribution] page. 3 Select the devices to write setting information from the device list. 4 Click [Start Distribution]. % When the written setting information contains data managed by the database of Device Manager or Remote Deployment Distributor, a confirmation message is displayed. When you want to update the relevant information registered in the database after changing the information defined in the device, click [OK]. When you do not update the relevant information registered in the database, click [Cancel]. When you click [Cancel], change the relevant information of the device using Device Manager or Remote Deployment Distributor. The [Execution Result] page is displayed. For details, refer to "Viewing the Execution Result" (p.5-4). Tips While one setting information item is being written to a device, another one cannot be written to the device.
