Error Message Replace Parts PF kit 2 Replace Toner Scan Unable XX Scanner Locked Cause It is time to replace the paper feeding kit for Tray 2. Action Call your KONICA MINOLTA dealer to replace the PF Kit 2. The toner cartridge is at the end of its life and printing is not possible. The machine has a mechanical problem. Document is too long for duplex scanning. The scanner lock is locked. Replace the empty toner cartridge with a new one. (See Replacing a toner cartridge on page 143.) Disconnect the machine from the power for several minutes, then reconnect it. (The machine can be turned off for up to 60 hours without losing faxes stored in the memory. See Transferring your faxes or Fax Journal report on page 129.) Press Stop/Exit. Use the suitable size of paper for duplex scanning. (See Scan on page 178.) Open the document cover, and then release the scanner lock lever. Size mismatch Toner Low Too Many Files Too Many Trays Unusable Device The paper in the tray is not the correct size. If the LCD shows Toner Low, you can still print; however, the machine is telling you that the toner cartridge is near the end of its life and the toner will soon need replacing. There are too many files stored on the USB Flash memory drive. More than one optional tray is installed. An incompatible or broken device has been connected to the USB direct interface. Press Stop/Exit. Load the correct size of paper in the tray and set the "Paper Size" (Menu, 1, 2, 2 (See Paper Size on page 20). Order a new toner cartridge now. Reduce the number of files stored on the USB Flash memory drive. The maximum number of optional trays is one. Remove any additional trays. Remove the USB Flash memory drive from the USB direct interface. 128
