8. RAID trouble shooting ∙ JBOD Linear volume The Disks are configured in series so that they are all being used at once to store data, as if they were one Disk in summation. The volume's storage capacity can be maximized, as the data is stored to the Disks in sequence. Data must not be written in the event of a damaged Disk to safeguard saving capacity. In this way, if a Disk is damaged, saved date in the volume will be lost. The storage capacity of the volume as a whole is the sum of the capacities of all of the Disks.
