Removing the Bottom Cover If you cannot access the expansion slot screw, you must remove the computer bottom cover. 1 Lay the computer on its side. Carefully rotate the feet a quarter turn, so they do not support the weight of the computer while it is on the side. 2 Remove the screws from the bottom cover. 3 Pivot the plain end of the bottom cover away from the computer. 4 Lift up slightly on the pronged end of the cover and remove. Removing the Bottom Cover
If you cannot access the expansion slot screw, you must remove the computer
bottom cover.

Lay the computer on its side.
Carefully rotate the feet a quarter turn, so they
do not support the weight of the computer while it is on the side.

Remove the screws from the bottom cover.

Pivot the plain end of the bottom cover away from the computer.

Lift up slightly on the pronged end of the cover and remove.
