9.1.1 Wireless settings Figure 9- 2 Wireless settings Service area name: Defines the name of the service area. SSID: (Service Set Identification) defines the SSID of the service area, and a string for uniquely identifying a wireless network, case sensitive. Main use: Employees, voice, visitors, etc. can be selected. The access levels of these three from high to low are as follows: Employees, voice, visitors. Broadcast filtering: Choose the way to broadcast packet filtering. DTIM interval: Selects the number of beacon intervals between 1 and 10 beacons. Multicast transmission optimization: Selects whether to enable optimization of multicast transmission. Dynamic multicast transmission: Selects to enable optimal dynamic multicast transmission or not. DMO channel using threshold value: The higher the percentage is, the higher the priority is. 2.4GHz: Able to stably reach the Internet by setting the minimum and maximum transmission rate of 2.4GHz. 5GHz: Able to stably reach the Internet by setting the minimum and maximum transmission rate of 5GHz. Air interface: Checking it to enable this feature. Each radio: Checking it to enable the radio function. Background WMM sharing: Sets the percentage of the background WMM share, in order to ensure establishing a stable connection with network resources, and providing a high quality data network connection performance. 33
