Chapter 3 Using the Media Center Extender Remote Control Buttons A/V and Power Buttons These buttons change channels, adjust volume or to put the Extender in standby mode. Extender Power Puts the Windows Media Center Extender into standby mode if the Extender is running. If the Extender is in standby mode, the Extender wakes from standby mode TV TV Power By default, the TV button has no command assigned to it. This button can "learn" to turn on the TV. Volume Up Increases the current volume by one unit. If the audio is currently muted when this button is pressed, muting is disabled and the volume increases by one unit Volume Down Decreases the current volume by one unit.
