POWER SOURCES AC CONNECTION Insert the small end of the AC adapter into the DC IN jack (located on the side of the unit). Connect the AC cord to the adapter and connect the other end to a wall outlet having 120V AC, 60 Hz. AC Adapter, DC 9V Z AC Outlet AC Plug NOTES: • The AC adapter supplied with the unit is polarized to help minimize the possibility of electric shock. If the AC plug does not fit into a nonpolarized AC outlet, do not file or cut the wide blade. It is the user's responsibility to have an electrician replace the obsolete outlet. • Use the enclosed AC adapter for this product only. • Remove both the DC plug and the AC-IN plug to disconnect the AC adapter when not using. BATTERY PACK INSERTION/REMOVAL Follow the diagram below to insert or remove the battery pack. 1 2 TO REMOVE: Slide the Battery Release switch in the direction of arrow A, then slide the Battery Pack in the direction of arrow B. TO INSERT: Align tabs from the battery into the holes in the unit, then slide the battery in the direction of arrow A. 7
