Sprint Service Using Voicemail Setting Up Your Voicemail All unanswered calls to your device are automatically transferred to your voicemail, even if your device is in use or turned off. Therefore, you will want to set up your Sprint Voicemail and personal greeting as soon as your device is activated. If you need to set up your voicemail, see "Setting Up Your Voicemail" on page 4. Voicemail Notification There are several ways your device alerts you to a new message: ⅷ By displaying a message on the screen. ⅷ By sounding the assigned ringer type. ⅷ By displaying B at the top of your screen. Note: When you are roaming off the Sprint National Network, you may not receive notification of new voicemail messages. It is recommended that you periodically check your voicemail by dialing 1 + area code + your phone number. When your voicemail answers, press * and enter your passcode. Your device accepts messages even when it is turned off. However, you are only notified of new messages when your device is turned on and you are in a Sprint service area. Setting Up Your Voicemail
All unanswered calls to your device are automatically
transferred to your voicemail, even if your device is in use or
turned off. Therefore, you will want to set up your Sprint
Voicemail and personal greeting as soon as your device is
