Contact with metal objects (e.g., jewelry, keys, beaded chains) could complete an electrical circuit (short circuit), causing the battery to become very hot, which could cause damage or injury. Promptly dispose of used batteries in accordance with local regulations. Contact your local recycling center for proper battery disposal. Warning: Never dispose of batteries in a fire because they may explode. Battery installation 1 Remove battery cover. 2 Insert battery as shown below. Push the battery down until it snaps in place. 3 Replace the battery cover. Essentials 15
