Hearing Aids Some mobile devices may interfere with some hearing aids. In the event of such interference, you may want to consult your hearing aid manufacturer or physician to discuss alternatives. Other Medical Devices and Health Care Facilities If you use any other personal medical devices, consult your physician or the manufacturer or your device to determine if it is adequately shielded from RF energy. Turn off your radio product when instructed to do so in hospitals or health care facilities that may be using equipment that is sensitive to external RF energy. Driving Precautions Check the laws and regulations on the use of radio products in the area where you drive. Always obey them. When using your radio product while driving, please: • Give full attention to driving and to the road. Using a mobile device may be distracting. Discontinue a call if you can't concentrate on driving. • Use handsfree operation, if available. • Pull off the road and park before making or answering a call if driving conditions so require. • Do not place a handset in the airbag deployment area. Note: The use of wireless phones while driving may cause distraction. Discontinue a call if you can't concentrate on driving. Additionally, the use of wireless devices and their accessories may be prohibited or restricted in certain areas. Always obey the laws and regulations on the use of these products. Potentially Explosive Atmospheres Areas with potentially explosive atmospheres are often but not always posted, and can include fueling areas such as below decks on boats, fuel or chemical transfer or storage facilities, or areas where the air contains chemicals or particles, such as grain, dust or metal powders. When you are in such area, turn off your hanset, and do not remove, install, or charge batteries unless it is a radio product type especially qualified for use in such areas as "Intrinsically Safe" (for example, Factory Mutual, CSA, or UL approved).
