Saving Still Pictures While Recording Movies If the shutter-release button is pressed all the way while recording a movie, one frame is saved as a still picture (JPEG image). Movie recording continues while the still picture is being saved. • The maximum number of still pictures that can be saved during a movie recording (10 pictures) and Q 7m23s are displayed at the top left of the monitor. When f is displayed, a still picture cannot be saved. • The image quality of the still pictures to be saved is the same as that set for Image quality (A69). When Image quality is set to RAW (NRW), still pictures are saved with Fine as the image quality. • The image size of the still pictures to be saved is set to e (3968 × 2232 pixels). B Notes on Saving Still Pictures During Movie Recording • Still pictures cannot be saved during movie recording in the following situations. - When a movie is recorded in the internal memory - When the remaining movie length is less than 10 seconds - When Movie options (A96) is set to n 1080/60i, q 1080/50i, g 480/30p, s 480/25p or HS movie - When movie recording is paused • Frames of a movie that were recorded when a still picture was being taken may not be played back in a seamless manner. • The sounds of operating the shutter-release button when saving a still picture may be heard in the recorded movie. • If the camera moves when the shutter-release button is pressed, the picture may be blurred.
