Troubleshooting Problem Monitor is blank. Monitor screen is hard to see. Cause/Solution • Camera is off. • Battery is exhausted. • Standby mode for saving power: Press the power switch, shutter-release button, c button or b (e movie-record) button, or rotate the mode dial. • When flash lamp flashes, wait until flash has charged. • Camera and computer are connected via USB cable. • Camera and TV are connected via audio/video cable or HDMI cable. • Interval timer shooting in progress. • Adjust monitor screen brightness. • Monitor is dirty.
