Movie Menu C Notes on Frame Rate and Bitrate • The frame rate values indicate the number of frames per second. With a higher frame rate, the movies become more seamless but the file size also becomes larger. • The movie bitrate is the volume of movie data recorded per second. As a variable bitrate (VBR) system has been adopted, the movie bitrate varies automatically according to the subject so that more data is recorded per second for movies containing frequently moving subjects, thus increasing movie file size. HS Movie When recorded movies are played back, the camera plays back the movies in slow motion or fast motion.
