Editing Movies Extracting Only the Desired Portion of a Movie The desired portion of a recorded movie can be saved as a separate file. 1 Play back the desired movie and pause at the start point of the portion that is to be extracted (A98). 2 Use the multi selector JK to select the I control, and then press the k button. 3 Use HI to select the M control (Choose start point). • Use the multi selector JK or rotate it to move the start point. • To cancel editing, select O (Back), and press the k button. 4 Use HI to select K (Choose end point). • Use the multi selector JK or rotate it to move the end point. • To preview the specified portion, use HI to select W and then press the k button.
