Disconnecting the camera Do not turn off the camera or disconnect the camera from the computer during transfer. When transfer is complete, open and close the slide cover to turn off the camera and disconnect the USB cable. The camera turns off automatically if there is no communication with the computer for 30 minutes while the camera is connected via the USB cable. B Connecting the USB Cable • Be sure that connectors are properly oriented. Do not attempt to insert connectors at an angle, and do not use force when connecting or disconnecting the USB cable. • The connection may not be recognized if the camera is connected to a computer via a USB hub. 129

Confirm that the source device is displayed in the transfer options

Disconnecting the camera
Do not turn off the camera or disconnect the camera from the computer during
transfer.
When transfer is complete, open and close the slide cover to turn off the camera
and disconnect the USB cable.
The camera turns off automatically if there is no communication with the
computer for 30 minutes while the camera is connected via the USB cable.
