More on Shooting Adjusting the Camera Settings in Shooting Mode C Date Imprint and Print Set When printing from DPOF-compatible printers that support the printing of shooting date and photo information, the date and information can be printed without imprinting this information on them using settings in the Print set option (A 101). C Date Imprint Setting Changes made to the date imprint setting apply to all other shooting modes except d Sports, l Museum, and p Panorama assist scene modes and movie mode, which do not support date imprinting. The current date imprint setting is stored in the camera's memory even after the camera is turned off and reapplied the next time the camera is turned on. Camera Settings That cannot be Applied Simultaneously Some shooting settings cannot be used with other functions. Restricted function Setting Description Touch shooting: K Touch shutter (A 51) R Touch AF/AE (A 53) Q Subject tracking (A 56) n Self-timer (A 58) m Flash mode (A 62) A Image mode (A 64) When the camera recognizes more than one face, a face framed by a single border can be Smile timer (A 60) tapped to focus on that face. The touch shutter and subject tracking functions are not available. Self-timer (A 58) Subject tracking (A 56) When Self-timer is enabled, the touch shutter function is not available. When Touch shooting is set to Q Subject tracking, Self-timer is disabled. Smile timer (A 60) When Smile timer is enabled, Self-timer is disabled. Continuous (A 68) When C Continuous, D BSS, or W Multishot 16 is selected, flash is disabled. Continuous (A 68) ISO sensitivity (A 73) When W Multi-shot 16 is selected, the image mode setting is fixed at d Normal (2592). When 3200 or 6400 is selected for M ISO sensitivity, the image mode setting of only e Normal (2048), g PC screen (1024), or h TV screen (640) can be selected. If any image mode setting other than above is selected, the image mode setting is automatically changed to e Normal (2048) when M ISO sensitivity is set to 3200 or 6400. 75
