Getting started ■ Installing the SIM card and the battery • Keep all miniature SIM cards out of the reach of small children. • The SIM card and its contacts can easily be damaged by scratches or bending, so be careful when handling, inserting or removing the card. • Before removing the covers, always switch off the power and disconnect the phone from the charger or any other device. Always store and use the phone with the covers attached. 1. To remove the back cover off the phone: With the back of the phone facing you, press the back cover release button and slide open the cover (1). Installing the SIM card and the battery

Keep all miniature SIM cards out of the reach of small children.

The SIM card and its contacts can easily be damaged by scratches or bending,
so be careful when handling, inserting or removing the card.

Before removing the covers, always switch off the power and disconnect the
phone from the charger or any other device. Always store and use the phone
with the covers attached.

To remove the back cover off the phone:
With the back of the phone facing you, press the back cover release button and
slide open the cover (1).
If the battery is installed in the phone, remove the battery by lifting it from the
finger grip (2).
