Use this procedure to change your PIN2 code. 1 Select Menu > Settings > Security settings > Access codes > Change PIN2 code. 2 At the prompt, enter the current PIN2 code, and select OK. 3 At the prompt, enter the new PIN2 code, and select OK. 4 At the prompt, enter the new PIN2 code again, and select OK. PUK AND PUK2 CODE The PUK code is required to change a blocked PIN code. The PUK2 code is required to change a blocked PIN2 code. If the codes are not supplied with the SIM card, contact your service provider. • Restore factory settings You can reset some of the menu settings to their original values. However, data that you have entered or downloaded is not deleted. For example, names and numbers in contacts are not affected. 1 Select Menu > Settings > Restore factory settings. 2 Enter the security code (the default is 12345), and select OK. A message confirms the original settings have been restored. 60 Copyright © 2004 Nokia
