Shooting at higher magnifications than optical zoom [Digital Zoom] I (Shooting menu 1) X Digital Zoom Submenu 2 Off On Application Disable digital zoom. Enable digital zoom. [Digital Zoom] is not available when [a Super Macro] or [N S-Macro LED] (p. 35) is selected. The option selected for [Digital Zoom] affects the appearance of the zoom bar. When the shutter speed is extremely slow, such as when taking pictures at night, [Image Stabilizer] (still images) may not be as effective. When shooting while the [IS Movie Mode] (movies) is set to [On], the image will be enlarged somewhat before saving. Viewing the image immediately after shooting [Rec View] J (Shooting menu 2) X Rec View Submenu 2 Off On Application The image being recorded is not displayed. There may be a noise coming from inside the camera when the shutter button is pressed with [Image Stabilizer] (still images) set to [On]. Automatically rotating images shot with the camera in a vertical position during playback [Pic Orientation] (TG-610 only) J (Shooting menu 2) X Pic Orientation During shooting, the [y] (p. 47) setting on the playback menu is set automatically.
