First Time Setup-Continued For TX-SR576 6 1 Press the [RECEIVER] button, followed by the [SETUP] button. Press the [SETUP] button. Setup closes. Note: • This procedure can also be performed on the AV receiver by using its [SETUP], [ENTER], and arrow buttons. 2 Use the Up and Down [ ]/[ ] buttons to select "2. Speaker HDMI Input Setup Setup," and then press [ENTER]. If you connect a video component to an HDMI IN, you must assign that input to an input selector. For example, if you connect your DVD player to HDMI IN 1, you must assign HDMI IN 1 to the DVD input selector. By default, none of the HDMI inputs are assigned. This procedure can also be performed on the AV
receiver by using its [SETUP], [ENTER], and arrow
buttons.
If you connect a video component to an HDMI IN, you
must assign that input to an input selector. For example,
if you connect your DVD player to HDMI IN 1, you
must assign HDMI IN 1 to the DVD input selector.
By default, none of the HDMI inputs are assigned. The
following input selectors can be assigned: DVD,
VCR/DVR, CBL/SAT, AUX.
For TX-SR506

Press the [RECEIVER] button,
followed by the [SETUP] button.

Use the Up and Down [
]/[

buttons to select “2. Speaker
Setup,” and then press [ENTER].

buttons to select “2-1.Sp Set-
tings,” and then press [ENTER].

and use the Left and Right [

4 ohms:
Select if the impedance of any
speaker is 4 ohms or more but
less than 6.
6 ohms:
Select if the impedances of all
speakers are between 6 and
16 ohms.

]/[

buttons to select:
Normal:
Select this if you’ve con-
nected your front speakers
normally.
Bi-Amp:
Select this if you’ve con-
nected your front speakers for
bi-amped operation.

Setup closes.
