Remote Controller Controlling the AV Receiver To control the AV receiver, press the [RECEIVER] REMOTE MODE button to select Receiver mode. You can also use the remote controller to control your DVD player, CD player, and other components. See page 87 for more details. B REMOTE MODE/INPUT SELECTOR buttons (47, 89-95) Selects the remote controller modes and the input sources. 12 C MULTI CH button (47) Selects the multichannel DVD input. D Arrow and ENTER buttons Used to select and adjust settings. E SETUP button Used to change settings. F LISTENING MODE buttons (57) Used to select the listening modes. G DIMMER button (48) Adjusts the display brightness. H DISPLAY button (49) Displays information about the current input source. I MUTING button (48) Mutes or unmutes the AV receiver. J VOL [ ]/[ ] button (47) Adjusts the volume of the AV receiver regardless of the currently selected remote controller mode. K RETURN button Returns to the previous display when changing settings. L AUDIO button (69) Used to change audio settings. M SLEEP button (48) Used with the Sleep function. * SP A/B is not used in this AV receiver. ■ Controlling the tuner To control the AV receiver's tuner, press the [TUNER] (or [RECEIVER]) REMOTE MODE button. You can select AM or FM by pressing the [TUNER] button repeatedly. 1 Arrow [ ]/[ ] buttons Used to tune into radio stations. 2 Number buttons (53) Used to select AM and FM radio stations directly. 3 D.TUN button (53) Selects the Direct tuning mode. 4 DISPLAY button (53) Displays information about the band, frequency, preset number, and so on. 5 CH +/- button (54) Selects radio presets. Note: • An Onkyo cassette recorder connected via can also be controlled in Receiver mode (see page 95).
