Set the A/B-SUB ROOM/LEARN selector switch to LEARN. 2. Place the head of your existing remote control 2-4 inches (5-10 cm) from the head of this remote control, laying both units on a table or another flat surface. 3. Press the button in the PROGRAMMABLE AREA of this remote control that you want to memorize the code into. • The SENDING/LEARNED indicator lights. 4. Hold down the button you want to memorize on your existing remote control while the LEARNED indicator is lighted, until the LEARNED indicator turns off. 5. To continue the process and memorize another button, repeat steps 3 - 4. • Hold down the button you wish to learn. NOTES: • Some remote controls use a single button to change codes, with the code changing each time the button is pressed. If you are using this kind of control, please perform "learn" operations for each function individually, one function to one this remote control button. • This remote control uses infrared rays. Most remote control codes can be memorized using the infrared system; however, depending on the degree to which the system differs, there are some rare occasions where memorization is not possible. Operating the remote control Set the A/B-SUB ROOM/LEARN selector switch to A position. Then operate the remote control by pressing the buttons of the functions you want to use. • If you press a button for which no code has been memorized, the SENDING/LEARNED indicator will not light up. • Please check whether previously memorized functions are working properly. If the SENDING indicator is not illuminated when a programmed button is pressed, it may need to be relearned from your existing remote control. Ct1 ng commands 1. Commands should be memorized using the method outlined in the section "Learning" new controller codes. • Entering new codes for certain buttons does not affect the func- tions of the other memorized buttons.
