Recording the source being played back. 1. Select the oo.,.0 to be ded ',all the input selector 1,-ut- tons. 2. Press the REC OUT button. 3. Press the REC OUT button again while the REC OUT indi- cator is flashing. The SOURCE and the source you have chosen will be dis- played in red boxes. (*) 4. Start the source selected in step 1, and start recording on the VCR connected to VIDEO-2 and/or VIDEO-3. On screen 1. Select the Rec Selector screen from the Menu screen. 2. Move the cursor to Rec Sel and press the t and 10- CUR- SOR button to select SOURCE. b. Recording a source different from the one being played back 1. Press the REC OUT button. 2, Precc the input celeetor hutton of the snore/. to he recorded while the REC OUT indicator is flashing. The chosen source will be displayed in a red box. (*) 3. Start the source selected in step 2, and start recording on the VCR connected to VIDEO-3. On screen (Refer to page 20) 1. Select the Rec Selector screen from the Menu screen. 2. Move the cursor to Rec.Sel and press the t and ► CUR- SOR buttons to select the source to be recorded. Playback and recording of TV picture and FM/ CABLE TV sound Recording of a TV broadcast and FM broadcast (simulcast) is possible when two VCR are used. 1. Receive the TV broadcast using the VCR tuner. 2. Press the VIDEO-2 or -3 input selector to set the picture to VIDEO-2 or -3. 3. Press the FM Input Selector and tune in the FM simulcast using a preset button or the tuning selectors. The picture will be sent to the monitor TV and the FM stereo sound to the speakers connected to this unit. 4. To moid the TV picture with FM sound, receive the TV broadcast using one VCR (connected to VIDEO-2 (or 3)) and begin recording on the other VCR (connected to VIDEO-3 (or 2)). The program can be monitored during recording. 31
