Scene Mode Advanced • You can switch menu screens from any menu item by rotating the zoom lever. SCN1 SCN2 When you select a scene mode to match the subject and recording situation, the camera sets the optimal exposure and hue to obtain the desired picture. Two frequently used scenes can be set to the mode dials [ ] and [ ]. • Refer to P50 to 55 for each scene menu. 1 Press 3/4 to select the scene mode. This is convenient as you do not need to select the scene mode in the [SCENE MODE] menu every time you take pictures. • When you take a picture with a scene mode that is not adequate for the purpose, the hue of the picture may differ from the actual scene. • When you want to change the brightness of the picture to be recorded, compensate the exposure (P43). (However, the exposure cannot be compensated in [STARRY SKY].) • Press 2 and then press 3/4 in the [SCENE MODE] menu to select either the [REC] menu icon [ ] (P61) or the 49 VQT0U87
