[Direct Connection Password] [ON]/[OFF] This setting controls whether or not a password is required when you directly connect this unit and a smartphone to start remote operations or to use the Wireless Twin/Multi-Camera function. ≥ If you select [OFF], you can directly connect this unit and a smartphone without entering the password for this unit's SSID into the smartphone. ≥ If you select [OFF], you cannot set up a connection with [WPS Connection] or [QR code]. Set up a connection by setting this unit's SSID on the smartphone. (l 159, 203, 207) ≥ The default setting is [OFF]. If you perform [Reset Wi-Fi Settings], the default setting will be restored.
