Incoming Messages 7.3 Listening to recorded messages The display will show the total number of recorded messages. When the unit has recorded new voice messages: - The {AUTO ANSWER} indicator will flash when AUTO ANSWER is turned ON. - The total number of recorded messages will flash on the display. Example: 02 MESSAGE(S) - The unit will beep slowly if the message alert feature is activated (feature #42, page 53). Flash/Light {ERASE} {STOP} {QUICK} {SET} {SLOW} {PLAY MESSAGES} {}{A}{B} Press {PLAY MESSAGES}. L Only the new recorded messages will be played. L Adjust the speaker volume using {A} or {B}. L After playing back all of the new messages, the {AUTO ANSWER} indicator will stop flashing but will remain lit up when AUTO ANSWER is turned ON. If you press {PLAY MESSAGES} at this time, all the recorded messages will be played. 7. Answering Machine Note: L The total recording time of all messages (greeting, incoming and memo) is about 18 minutes. If messages are recorded in noisy rooms, the time may be shortened. 7.3 Listening to recorded
messages
The display will show the total number of
recorded messages.
When the unit has recorded new voice
messages:

To skip a message

To stop playback temporarily

minute, the unit will resume playing the rest of
the messages.
Voice time/day stamp
During playback, a synthesized voice will
announce the day of the week and time that each
message was recorded.
To change the playback speed
Press

QUICK
}
to play messages at one and a
half times the original speed. Press
{
SLOW
}
to
play messages at half the original speed.

To return to the original speed, press either
{
QUICK
}
or
{
SLOW
}
again during quick or
slow playback.

messages
To erase a specific message
Press

ERASE
}
while listening to the message
you want to erase.
To erase all the messages
