9.3.6 Answering machine I cannot retrieve recorded messages from a remote location. L Press the remote operation ID correctly and firmly (page 44). Messages in the mailbox do not play back. L The mailbox password is wrong. Enter the correct password. - For mailbox 1 password, see feature #51 (page 53). - For mailbox 2 password, see feature #52 (page 54). The other party complains that they cannot leave a voice message. L The memory is full. Erase unnecessary messages (page 43, 47). 9.3.7 If a power failure occurs L The unit will not function. L The unit is not designed for making emergency telephone calls when the power fails. Alternative arrangements should be made for access to emergency services. L Fax transmission and reception will be interrupted. L If delayed transmission (feature #25, page 52) is programmed and the start time is passed during a power failure, transmission will be attempted soon after power is restored. L If any fax documents are stored in the memory, they will be lost. When power is restored, a power down report will be printed out stating which contents in the memory have been erased. 9.
