Problem ■■Fan noise coming from the Induction Hob. ■■Cookware does not become hot and appears in the display ■■The Induction Hob or a cooking zone has turned itself OFF unexpectedly, there is an unusual sound, and an error code is displayed (typically alternating with one or two digits in the cooking timer display). Possible causes Solution A built-in cooling fan of the Induction Hob has turned on to prevent the electronics from overheating. It may continue to run even after switching the Induction Hob OFF. This is normal and needs no action. Do not switch OFF the power supply for the Induction Hob at the wall while the fan is running. The Induction Hob cannot detect the cookware because it is not suitable for induction cooking. The Induction Hob is unable to detect the cookware because it is too small for the cooking zone or not properly centered on it. Use cookware suitable for induction cooking. See 'Types of Cookware that can be used'. Center the cookware and make sure that the base matches the size of the cooking zone. Technical fault.
