Turning the lamp on or off will cause this noise to increase a little. B By using the "OPTION" menu to set "LAMP POWER" to "LOW", the operating sound of the fan can be reduced. (Refer to page 47.) B You can also turn off the power by pressing the POWER button twice or by holding it down for at least 0.5 seconds. B When the projector is in standby mode (the power indicator on the projector is illuminated red), the projector continues to draw approximately 3.0 W of power even when the cooling fan has stopped.
