Removing the pedestal from the TV Be sure to remove the pedestal in the following procedures when you repack the TV. 1 Remove the cable cover (rear) from the pedestal. 2 Remove the cover from the pedestal. 3 Disconnect the speaker cable . 4 Remove the assembly screws from the TV. 5 Lift the TV from the pedestal. 6 Remove the cable cover (front) from the pedestal. 7 Remove the speaker cable from the pedestal. 8 Remove the assembly screw from the pedestal. 9 Remove the speaker from the pedestal. 10 Remove the assembly screws from the pedestal. ■ Moving the TV/speaker Before moving the TV, disconnect all cables and remove the speaker from the pedestal. ● Move the TV with at least two people. Support the TV as shown below to prevent injury that may be caused by the tipping or falling of TV. ● Do not hold the screen part when moving the TV. Warning Do not disassemble or modify the pedestal. ● Otherwise, the TV may fall over and become damaged, and personal injury may result. Caution Do not use any pedestal other than that provided with this TV. ● Otherwise, the TV may fall over and become damaged, and personal injury may result. Do not use the pedestal if it becomes warped or physically damaged. ● If you use the pedestal when it is physically damaged, personal injury may result. Contact your nearest Panasonic Dealer immediately. During set-up, make sure that all screws are securely tightened. ● If sufficient care is not taken to ensure screws are properly tightened during assembly, the pedestal will not be strong enough to support the TV, and it might fall over and become damaged, and personal injury may result. When removing the pedestal, do not remove the pedestal by any methods other than the specified procedure. (p. 14) ● Otherwise, the TV and/or pedestal may fall over and become damaged, and personal injury may result. ● Transport only in upright position. Transporting the TV with its display panel facing upwards or downwards may cause damage to the internal circuitry. ● Do not hold the speaker in one hand. ● Do not hold the speaker net part. Support the speaker as shown below to prevent injury that may be caused by the falling of the speaker. ● Be careful not to nip the fingers between the speaker and pedestal when installing the speaker to the pedestal. ■ Magnetic influence ● Keep magnet field sensitive objects, such as a cardiac pacemaker, magnetic / IC card, etc. away from the speaker. Removing the pedestal from the TV
Be sure to remove the pedestal in the following
procedures when you repack the TV.

Remove the cable cover (rear)
from the pedestal.

Remove the cover
from the pedestal.

Disconnect the speaker cable

Remove the assembly screws
from the TV.

Lift the TV from the pedestal.

Remove the cable cover (front)
from the pedestal.

Remove the speaker cable
from the pedestal.

Remove the assembly screw
from the pedestal.

Remove the speaker from the pedestal.

Remove the assembly screws
from the pedestal.
Warning
Do not disassemble or modify the pedestal.
Otherwise, the TV may fall over and become
damaged, and personal injury may result.
Caution
Do not use any pedestal other than that provided
with this TV.
Otherwise, the TV may fall over and become
damaged, and personal injury may result.
Do not use the pedestal if it becomes warped or
physically damaged.
If you use the pedestal when it is physically damaged,
personal injury may result. Contact your nearest
Panasonic Dealer immediately.

securely tightened.
If sufficient care is not taken to ensure screws are
properly tightened during assembly, the pedestal will
not be strong enough to support the TV, and it might
fall over and become damaged, and personal injury
may result.
When removing the pedestal, do not remove the
pedestal by any methods other than the specified
